Walled City (2017)
Derry City Walls, built in 17th century. It is the only Completely Walled City in Ireland. Derry - Londonderry is Northern Ireland's second largest city. I have been influenced by David Hockney's collages. I have also been influenced by Willie Doherty who is a Derry based artist that focused his work around Derry too. I decided to used photo collages because I wanted something different, new and more exciting. Derry City Walls have an interesting history. I had to focus on linear perspective. Some went well, but some failed because the space was not good enough.
